Dr. Michael Yuhas graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then received his Bachelor of Science in basic science and Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Yuhas' specialties include medical-based optometry, dry eyes, glaucoma, diagnosis and treatment of macular degeneration, and diagnosis and treatment of diabetic exams. He has been in practice for 11 years and is a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and Cambria Regional Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Yuhas grew up in Northern Cambria, about 45 minutes north of Valley Vision Care's office. He said what made him specialize in his field was "personal vision care need (I wear a very strong prescription) and my drive to help others." Outside of work he enjoys hunting, fishing, weight training and spending time with his wife, Stephanie, his son Christopher, daughter Margot and his two Corgis, Roxie and Russell.
